My mission is to dive deeper in to the world of small online creators. I want to learn what drives them in their passion to grow in this form of entertainment and what they’ve learned about themselves and others along the way.
About Me
My name is Stephanie Schumaker and my dream is to write and create. I studied at Central Michigan University with a bachelors in English and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. After school, I was reintroduced to my love of video games and wanted to pursue a hobby in streaming on Twitch.com. I have been an on and off streamer for almost 3 years, playing a variety of different games. Through this process I have met so many different people and made amazing new friends. I was astounded that all of this happened through playing video games live in front of an audience. I started to watch my friends streams all the time and grow closer with their communities through chat. This is where I decided it would be a great opportunity to combine both of my passions and start this project. I want to bring all of these communities together by introducing them to the small streamers on twitch who play their favorite games, by giving them an inside scoop and a relative post so that their audience can know them better.
